Delete your FAM360 account

1. In the FAM360 app

   On Android or iPhone, open Settings → Account → Delete my account. The app shows what will happen and asks for your password.

2. On this page, without the app

   Enter the e-mail address of your account in the form below. We send a single-use link to that address, valid for 30 minutes. Open it, check what will be deleted and confirm. You need neither the app nor your password.

• You are signed out on every phone and browser. Your phones are disconnected from the account and receive no more notifications.
• You leave every family and group you belong to. You disappear from their map and member lists, and nobody can see your location any more.
• Your location data is deleted: your current position, your location history, your arrivals and departures, and your place alerts.
• A family in which you are the only adult is deleted with your account, together with its child profiles, the children’s location data and the family’s places. Children’s phones connected to it are disconnected.
• An SOS alarm you had raised is ended, and the people it alerted are told.
• Invitations you sent that were still pending are withdrawn.
• You can no longer sign in. Apart from one e-mail confirming the deletion date, FAM360 sends nothing more to your address while the deletion is pending.

Everything else is kept for 30 days, unusable, then permanently deleted: your account and profile (name, e-mail address, language, time zone), the record of your consents, your sessions and devices, your notification settings and e-mail preferences, your alarm history, your memberships of the families you left, invitations sent to your address and the records of the e-mails we sent you. A family deleted with your account is removed completely at the same time.

• Security records. Actions on the account, such as sign-ins and the deletion itself, are recorded under a random account number, never your name or e-mail address, with a scrambled form of the network address they came from. They are kept for 400 days after each event, to investigate abuse and security incidents, and then deleted.
• A do-not-write marker, only if one exists. If a message to your address bounced or was reported as spam, or if you unsubscribed from our news, we keep a one-way fingerprint of the address and a masked form of it (such as j•••@example.com), so that we never write to it against your wishes. It is not linked to any account.
• What belongs to a family you leave stays with that family, for example the places and rules you set up for it or its children’s profiles. Once your account is deleted, it no longer refers to you.

• If you are the only adult of a family, the family is deleted with your account, including its child profiles.
• If you own a family that has other adults, make one of them the owner, or remove them from the family, first.
• If you are the only guardian of a child in a family that has other adults, add another guardian for that child, or remove the child’s profile, first.
• Both are done in the app. The app and the confirmation page list exactly what is left to do before the account can be deleted.

No. A deletion is final: it cannot be cancelled in the app, on this page or by our support. Your families, groups and location data are dealt with as soon as you confirm, and signing in is refused during the 30 days. If you did not ask for the deletion, someone may know your password or be able to read your e-mail: change those passwords.
